During our recent family vacation, we had the pleasure of staying at Nefeli, which proved to be a practical choice for exploring Athens. Located amidst a vibrant neighbourhood, the hotel is just a short walk to major attractions like the Acropolis and the bustling Plaka district. Although we encountered some cleanliness issues, such as a leak in the toilet and hair left from a previous guest, the staff handled our concerns with kindness and promptness, enhancing our experience. The breakfast provided was adequate, well-timed from 6:30 AM to 10 AM, and set us up for our daily adventures. What truly stood out was the family atmosphere created by the hotel owners, making us feel safe and welcome. With public transport easily accessible, we enjoyed marvelous sightseeing, including the ancient Agora and Philopappos Hill. Nefeli served as a reasonable base for families seeking to explore the best of Athens.
